Situated in the heart of Shandon is a quaint house that was a once-upon-a-time family home.
Today, this quaint house is home to Live Oak Counseling Center, a non-profit organization originally founded as a ministry of several local churches to provide professional and affordable mental health counseling and outreach for those struggling with life issues.
The longest resident of 600 King Street is a stately Live Oak aptly named Allon, the Hebrew name for strong oak, who took up residence in the front yard some 100 years ago.
Today, this quaint house is home to Live Oak Counseling Center, a non-profit organization originally founded as a ministry of several local churches to provide professional and affordable mental health counseling and outreach for those struggling with life issues.
