Your Trusted Mental Health Therapist in Washington, DC
With over four decades of dedicated practice, I have established myself as a leading psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. My career began with a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, and I have since expanded my expertise through certifications in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Imago Relationship Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR. As a Certified Hudson Institute Coach and graduate of the Group Psychotherapy Institute at the Washington School of Psychiatry, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to my clients. I founded one of the first outpatient eating disorder programs in the Washington, D.C. area and have served as past president of the Washington Society for the Study of Eating Disorders.

My practice emphasizes personalized care, combining therapeutic modalities to address individual needs, promote healing, and foster personal growth. Clients consistently describe me as wise, experienced, and compassionate, valuing the clarity and direction they gain from each session.
