Is your family life deteriorating? Is your family in disarray? Do you often feel disrespected, unheard or not valued by your partner, spouse or extended family members? Perhaps your family is struggling through a life transition, such as grieving a death, relocating to a new community or having another baby. Or maybe it's difficult for your family to communicate, resolve conflicts and make peace with one another.

I enjoy all of my clients and feel competent to treat any mental or emotional disorder. I work primarily with adults, but I enjoy the children too. I am asked sometimes when I am going to retire and I say, "Never, I hope." I cannot imagine not being involved with the people I have trained all my life to serve. I enjoy travel and spending time with my husband, and our children and grandchildren when I am not working.

I have never developed hobbies but I like taking pictures of the family and making Shutterfly books for them to keep. I do DBT groups for both professional women and women on disability.

Our Approach
Report
Since 1994, our team of therapists at Personal Growth Counseling Center has prided ourselves in maintaining a safe, compassionate, inviting and respectful environment.
Our primary goal is to empower individuals, children, teens, families and couples by helping them develop the coping skills, increased self-awareness and improved self-confidence needed to better their lives.
One of the most important lessons we continually pass along is how to be resilient.
It's not about how many times we get knocked down in life.
