Individualized Counseling

After a diagnostic evaluation, our counselor will recommend a treatment based on your situation.
Our goal is to equip you with the understanding and tools for a productive, satisfying lifestyle that does not include the use of alcohol or drugs.
In other circumstances, we may recommend intensive intervention and education programs.
We'll help you understand the physical and mental effects of alcohol and drug consumption and the disease of addiction.

Outpatient Treatment

At First Step, you diagnostic evaluation may lead us to recommend outpatient treatment options.
We'll add outpatient treatment to our intensive intervention & Education program.
Outpatient treatment is advisable when your assessment shows us that a more in-depth understanding of use, abuse, or addiction is necessary.
We'll add outpatient treatment to our Intensive Prevention Program.
Our goal is to help you attain abstinence from alcohol and drugs.
In some situations, our assessment may show us that a more intensive outpatient program is the best plan of action for you.
Recovery

At First Step, we understand that drug and alcohol addictions often require ongoing treatment.
We offer a variety of programs for aftercare clients.
We respond to your needs to ensure that you get the aftercare and recovery programs that will be most beneficial.
Weekly programs are available, including convenient evening classes.
