Prior to returning to school to obtain my degree in Social Work, I worked in various capacities in human services/social services agencies in Jefferson County, NY ranging from case manager to program coordinator to counselor. In every position, I learned that there is no substitute for developing authentic relationships and gaining rich life experiences.
Upon returning to school for my graduate studies in Social Work, I received training doing individual and family therapy as well as clinical assessments at Samaritan Medical Center Behavioral Health Unit and Carthage Behavioral Health. Since earning my Master's degree and obtaining my license, I have worked as an outpatient therapist, providing therapy for children, adolescent, and adults.
Most recently, I have worked as an elementary school social worker. I am committed to ongoing consultation and continuing education in order to best meet the needs of my clients. My practice is built on trust, pragmatic counseling, and professionalism.
