Tricia Isenstein, MA, LPCC, is a Certified Trauma Professional with near 20 years experience working with adults who have experienced trauma. Creative counseling combines traditional therapy techniques with creative strategies that meet individual lives. Each person comes to counseling with a unique set of goals, a unique set of problems, and as a unique being.

We strive to honor each of those. Counseling brings empathy and understanding of how difficult it is to navigate today's world when mental health issues are hindering your well-being To enter the therapeutic relationship, is to take care of yourself - to give back to yourself - to aspire to be more.

I have been working in the counseling profession in the central Kentucky since 2002.
I am dedicated to empowering individuals to honor themselves, and to incorporate their unique experiences into a fulfilling and purposeful life.
I have worked with a very diverse population of clients, and am humbled by human resilience.
I have extensive experience working with a number of client concerns including PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, intimate partner violence, infertility, parenting issues and concerns, survivors of adverse childhood experiences, survivors of rape or sexual assault, college student concerns, and LGBTQIA+ concerns and issues.

Being trauma-informed at an organizational or institutional level has proven to have outcomes that benefit society as a whole.
Research continues to support how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) is one of the biggest public health epidemics we face.
This is a 2-hour (or longer) presentation on the effects of ACEs on persons, how trauma presents itself in behavior of individuals, and considerations of how to make your school or workplace trauma-informed.

Additional work performed on behalf of clients, including phone consultations, letters prepared, etc, will be billed at the price of $15.00 per every 15 minutes of work.
