Over the past several days, many organizations have released public statements regarding the senseless murder of George Floyd, an unarmed African-American man in Minneapolis who was killed by a police officer. We are horrified with this death of yet another unarmed African -American man at the hands of law enforcement. This event has sparked international outrage, highlighting systemic racism that continues to impact the lives African-Americans-especially African-American men.
Locally, we also recognize that historical and current health inequities have impacted the Latinx community in Tillamook County. This along with the challenges of the pandemic, has led to anxiety, worry and a sense of despair. Tillamook Family Counseling Center mourns the death of George Floyd and stands in support of his family and his community as they struggle to deal with the significance of this senseless killing.
Furthermore, the agency stands in solidarity with the non-violent protests targeting police brutality.

The Tillamook Family Counseling Center is a comprehensive behavioral health services provider serving youth, adults and their families in Tillamook County.
The agency was incorporated in 1983 and has been successfully operating in Tillamook County since that time.
The Trained Staff at TFCC are all highly qualified behavioral health professionals, trained to assess your problems and to partner with you to seek solutions.

These services are provided by a staff of qualified and experienced clinicians.

Mobile Crisis Response in collaboration with Tillamook County community agencies and service providers.
Crisis triage in collaboration with Tillamook Regional Medical Center Emergency Department.

The Center's model does not prescribe medication, but rather focuses on training in relaxation, movement, and coping strategies for managing pain to improve one's quality of life.
The Ivy Avenue Wellness Center is a program of the Tillamook Family Counseling Center.
The program's lead clinician is Bud Perschek, LPC.
To enroll in services, a referral from your physician or other primary care provider is required.
Individuals are then scheduled for a one-hour introductory session that gives an overview of the program.

Developmental Disabilities

A developmental disability is a disability diagnosed as a mental or physical condition or a combination of mental and physical conditions resulting in significant impairments to daily functioning.
Must be established prior to the age of 22, or in the case of intellectual disabilities the condition must be determined before 18 years of age.
Must result in significant impairments in at least two areas of daily functioning: self care, communication, cognitive, mobility, self direction, capacity for independent living and economic self sufficiency.
