We work with individuals, couples and families emphasize cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and other solution-focused strategies. Our team consists of licensed professionals in the mental health field holding numerous degrees and multiple publications.

Dr. Cooper is a licensed psychologist and has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years.
Her work with individuals, couples and families emphasize cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and other solution focused strategies to empower and strengthen individuals who are struggling to cope with everyday life circumstances, as well as those battling severe mental health issues.
Her approach with children emphasizes behavior management programs, parent support, and creative strategies to decrease maladaptive behavior.

Now more than ever, people need emotional support.
While some people do suffer from chronic mental health issues, many are just struggling through everyday life and turn to a therapist for added support and professional help.
As a result, we work with a wide range of people including, children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couples and families.
We have recently added group therapy to our list of services, so please be sure to ask about what groups we are currently offering.
We provide services for individuals struggling with mental health disorders and phase of life problems.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your first scheduled appointment.
The office staff will need to make a copy of your driver's license and insurance card, so please bring them with you to your first appointment.
The first appointment is called an "Intake" appointment and is an information gathering session.
You will be asked about the reason for your visit, along with various other questions that will inform the services provided to you in the future.
At the end of the first session, your therapist will discuss with you, treatment options for helping you to achieve your goals for therapy.
Fees/insurance

A missed appointment is a missed opportunity for someone else who may be in need.
Please be courteous and provide a 24 notice if you will not be able to make your appointment on the scheduled date and time.
Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the appointment will result in a charge for the full session fee to the card on file.
Insurance companies do not reimburse for missed appointments, therefore, you are responsible for the full fee.
If you miss more than two consecutive appointments, any future appointments that you have pre-scheduled may be canceled.
Your First Visit

When you call to schedule your first appointment, you will receive a link in your email to begin the intake process.
You will be asked to complete information about the reason for your visit and to electronically sign required consent forms and notices.
This information must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your first appointment in order to hold your scheduled appointment.
