J & A Counseling and Evaluations, Inc. (JACE) is a privately owned and operated counseling agency located in Midland, Michigan.
The agency specializes in substance abuse counseling, mental health counseling, family counseling, anger management and self-control counseling, substance abuse evaluations, and Secretary of State Driver's License evaluations. J & A has been providing counseling services since 2004, and has developed a great relationship with the Midland community.
Each counselor has the required education, certification, and experience necessary for providing professional and confidential counseling services. We match each client with the appropriate counselor based on the area of specialty the client is requesting. We value confidentiality, honesty, and respect for all of our clients.

Jolene Pickelman, MA, LPC, Since 1993 has been completing the substance abuse drivers license evaluation for clients appealing to the State of Michigan for restoration of their drivers license.
She is dedicated to thoroughly gathering all necessary information to increase the clients chance of regaining their driving privileges.
Jolene works closely with many attorneys who are representing clients at the drivers license hearing.
Angela Volk, MA, LPC, Since 1993 has been completing substance abuse evaluations for clients that have been charged with drunk driving, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drugs, minor in possession and other alcohol related charges.
She is dedicated to thoroughly gathering all necessary information to increase the clients chance of regaining their driving privileges.

She has been working in the counseling field since 1990.
Jolene has specialized training in working with adults and adolescents that have addiction and/or mental health issues.
Jolene provides individual, group, family counseling, marital counseling and substance abuse evaluations to a wide population of clients.
She also assists clients who are in the process of getting a restricted or full drivers license by completing a Secretary of State substance abuse evaluation with them.
